We are excited to present our first 4 jewellers who will be exhibiting their work for sale at Made London Marylebone (The Design and Craft Fair October 2018)
Amanda Denison is inspired by the traces left through decay and dilapidation and by the marks stamped on the urban environment. She works with industrial enamel on steel and includes precious metal accents. After kiln-firing she gently abrades pieces to create smooth, matt surfaces with subtle areas of hue and tone.
Annabet is a jeweller and the maker of small silver functional pieces, spoons, napkin rings, small utensils for specific tasks. Her jewellery at this time uses silver, vitreous enamel, painted plywood and glass or semi-precious beads.
Belgian jeweller and product designer An Alleweireldt completed her studies at the Royal College of Art, winning the prestigious Armourers and Braziers Prize for Innovative Work.
Her collectable pieces of jewellery demand a closer look, there is always more to them than meets the eye. She sells through her own brand, www.oxxjewellery.london which we have the pleasure of welcoming at Made London Marylebone.
Caroline Finlay Jewellery is inspired by the coastline, the textures, colours and patterns it evokes. She works in silver, gold and vitreous enamel. Enamel allows her to introduce colour into the work and she uses a palette that echoes her inspiration. Caroline works spontaneously, creating textures and marks by hand, meaning each piece is unique.
Stay tuned for our next maker presentation!
