MADE BRIGHTON is running for a third year in the stunning St Bartholomew’s Church. This show is a little different – whilst still showing the best makers in the country, the St Bartholomew’s fair will be a down to earth ‘Village Hall’ one day, table-top selling event.
Our venue is St Bartholomew’s Church, a stunning late Victorian Byzantine inspired church. Known to some as the Noah’s Ark Church, because of the local legend that it was built to the same dimensions as the Ark. It is the tallest parish church in Europe and as such the Church is a truly awe-inspiring space. We’ll be using the main body of the church to show sixty makers, exhibiting a wide variety of original work.
Atelier 51 is the home of Tutton and Young. The building is a converted Victorian warehouse directly opposite St Bartholomew’s Church. We have four studios housing Silvia K Ceramics, Elaine Bolt, Rhoda K Baker
and Sarah Young.
